Low Profile Diamond Engagement Ring Circa 1930

The Coco ring is a vintage low profile diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco era, circa 1930! This incredible beauty centers a transitional cut diamond weighing 2.23 carats of O-P color, VS2 clarity. The diamond is set in a platinum bezel with subtle millegrain detailing. To the North, South, East, and West are two channel set baguette diamonds that are also highlighted with millegrain and combine for a total of 0.40 carats. The ring has hand engravings down the shank and an intricate, open metalwork gallery. The ring is size 6.5 and can be resized!

Oh, WOW! This ring is a true Art Deco masterpiece! The diamond is incredibly bright and sparkles from every angle! The geometric baguettes add a super chic vibe to the ring! Every detail in this ring is utter perfection with all of the intact engravings and intricacy to the gallery! Bonus: this ring has a very low profile!

Just look at that amazing transitional cut diamond! Dazzling! The transitional cut is the cut of diamond that “transitions” the old European cut into today’s modern round brilliant. Transitionally cut diamonds typically have a larger table, lower crown and smaller culet. This makes them perfect for low profile engagement rings like Coco!

Coco’s bezel setting also complements the low profile design wonderfully! In fact, bezels are a popular choice for low profile engagement rings, because they help to secure the stone in place while tucking it virtually into the ring itself. The resulting look is full of subtle charm and elegance.

Coco’s delicate millegrain detailing around the setting—not to mention the engraving along the shoulders and band—adds even more finesse and grace to this piece! Beyond appearance, the bezel setting also helps to make the ring highly functional, durable and wearable, helping to prevent the ring from snagging on anything during day-to-day activities. Beauty and utility!

Don’t miss this incredible low profile diamond engagement ring!
