Briolette Emerald and Collet-Set Diamond Drop Earrings
The Forest earrings are an AB original design. The earrings feature two Old European Cut diamonds that are each collet set in platinum, both totaling 1.56 carats of I-J color, SI-I clarity. Suspended from each diamond, a floral platinum drop hugs each of the two briolette-cut Emeralds, both of Afghan origin and moderate enhancement, one of 2.72 carats and the other of 2.88 carats. The earrings are set in platinum with 18kt gold backings.
Why We Love It
Drawing inspiration from the drop earrings we see bejeweling the ears of ladies in Georgian and Victorian-era paintings, we designed the Forest earrings to showcase two stunningly hued emerald briolettes that we came across! We adore how the emeralds' angular facets highlight the vibrancy of the stones and create that beautiful glow. The Forest earrings are a timeless addition to any collection!
