Antique Early Art Nouveau 2 Carat Colombian Emerald Ring

The Kara ring is an authentic antique ring from the Art Nouveau period circa 1890. The ring centers an approximately 2.20 carat GCS certified Colombian emerald with minor enhancement. Surrounding the central emerald is a halo of twenty rose-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.45 carats, of J-K color and VS-SI clarity. A leaf-like band holds an additional sixteen smaller rose-cut diamonds. The stones are all set in an 18kt yellow gold setting on a fluted band. The ring is currently size 5.25 and can be resized!

Why We Love It

Green with envy over this beautiful early Art Nouveau ring! Centering a glowing Colombian emerald with an elongated, precise cut, the ring's leaf-like shoulders hearken to the late 19th century's fascination with the natural world and its turn toward sweeping nature-inspired design. It has a low, wearable profile and impeccable finger coverage.  An incredibly unique piece of jewelry, the Kara ring would make a stunning engagement ring or a meaningful addition to any antique jewelry collection.

The dimensions of the center stone are approximately 10.6 x 5.8 x 4.4mm.
