Rare French Art Deco Emerald and Diamond Cocktail Ring
The Nestor ring is an authentic antique ring from the Art Deco Era, circa 1920. The ring centers an approximately 2.22-carat Emerald-cut Colombian emerald of minor enhancement. Eight large Old European and Old Mine Cut diamonds surround the center emerald, ranging from 0.40-carat to 1.20 carats, each of approximately H-I color, mainly VS clarity with a couple SI. Eight additional small Old Cut diamonds surround the larger stones. The diamonds combine for approximately 6 carats of total weight. A halo of fine channel-set calibré cut emeralds frames the ring's centerpiece. The stones are set in a two-tone 18kt Yellow Gold and Platinum setting. The ring is currently size 6.5 and can be resized!
Why We Love It
An exceptionally crafted Art Deco oval cocktail ring with the distinctive refinement of French design, the Nestor ring is a rare piece of historic jewelry. With 6 carats of bright antique diamonds and a large, luminous Colombian emerald, the piece spares no detail in the fine quality of its gems. We love the combination of gold and platinum and how the gallery delicately curves and lifts the pieces off the finger. A truly sumptuous ring for the bolder among us! One for the museums, but will happily shine in your personal collection.
The dimensions of the ring are approximately 35mm x 21mm.
